The Regional Operations Centres have a key role in the process of building and operating the infrastructure. The ROCs will have the expertise to assist the growing number of Resource Centres in joining the infrastructure, through the deployment of middleware releases and the development of procedures and capabilities to operate those resources.

The Regional Operations Centre will provide support in resolving operational problems originating at the Resource Centres. Once a problem is referred to a ROC, ownership rests with the ROC to ensure that it is resolved, where possible, and that the originator of the problem is kept informed of its status. The ROC will also provide first-line support to Grid users to resolve infrastructure problems i.e. those arising from operations and middleware.

This website aims to provide information about the ROC, it's partners and RCs.

There are also sections for finding further information about news, events and providing tools for contacting an assortment of teams, people.

Please contact us via the link at the bottom of all the pages if you have any feedback regarding this site, suggestions for improvements or additional.
