The EGEE grid provides computing power for jobs to be run on.

Before you can submit jobs to the EGEE grid you need to:

1. Obtain a certificate signed by one of the Trusted Certification Authorities The UK e-Science Certification Authority is available from this link.
   
2. Become a member of a Virtual Organization that is trusted by EGEE. For more information see this list of VOs. Please Note: The link requires you to have the aforementioned trusted certificate imported into the browser that you are currently using to open the link. For information on creating a VO see the User FAQ page.
   
3. Once the above steps are complete you may start submitting jobs to the EGEE grid - either via a portal or directly.
